OUR MISSION

Picture

Excellence In Education

It is the goal of the Riverton High School Instrumental Music Program to provide students with positive, life-changing experiences through learning about, experiencing, and performing music at the highest level. Instructors work with students to cultivate leadership experiences while fostering a sense of ownership, accomplishment, and pride.

Community Involvement

Riverton High School has a storied tradition of excellence in service to the community. Each year the student body participates in Silver Rush, a school-wide event to raise money and awareness for a charitable organization. In 2018, Silver Rush raised over $195,000  for Shelter Kids, a non-profit that helps homeless teens. Other service opportunities include the Silverwolf Community Jazz Dinner Dance, a fun dance for the Riverton Community put on by the Instrumental Music Department in collaboration with the Ballroom Dance Department.
